I have RAID-1 running on Redhat 6.0 using two EIDE 10 gig hard disks. I
have installed Raidtools 0.90-3. At this point I was able to make
everything function exactly as expected. I'm a bit surprised by this
because at no point did I ever install any patches.
All the Raidtools commands work fine. Mdstat shows the expected info.
Pulling a disk from the array shows the proper warnings and continues in
degraded mode, and raidhotadd rebuilds the mirror to full functionality.
I've even verified that each partition in the mirror has all the same
contents before and after crash simulation/rebuild. With everything
appearing to function perfectly can I assume Redhat has built their stock
2.2.5-15 kernel with the necessary patches already in place?
I'm I missing something?
