I note that "7d a6 c0" maps to (nearly) 8234718, but what are the "00 00 80
00" bits ?

This is a 10 byte (vs 6 byte) read command. The length of the original
command was 128 blocks (00 80 hex). The error code is 03/11 (medium
error/ecc uncorrectable).
