Hi Thomas & All,

I managed it and raidtools seemed to run fine.
I've upgradet my RaidDrives from mdtools 0.4x with mkraid --upgrade.
Also the flag persistent-superblock=0 avoiding dataloss. All fine.

Since without the persistent-superblock=1 set, there is no autostart from raidtools.

How can I manage to autostart during bootup?
Are there also preconfigured scripts in SuSE 6.3?
If not, can anybody halp me with script fragments ?

we use here suse version and also raid0145

on the cd is already a precompiled raidtools-19990824-0.90 (but until
now, i didnt test,
cause i recompile this tools always for my own.

what you need is only to patch the kernel.
but take also care about the suse kernel, cause it includes many patches
for other things

so my recommend is:

get the clean linux kernel from the disk
and patch yourself, what is needed. (take for isdn)
good luck.
