I have had no problems. But i use the Abit BE6-2. I use a
2.2.14-pristine patched with the HPT366-Patch (from
http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~b6506063/hpt366/ ), the RAID-Patch (from
http://people.redhat.com/mingo/raid-2.2.14-B1) and the i2c and sensors
patch 2.4.5 (from http://www.lm-sensors.nu). Then I compiled the kernel
with all needs and I rebooted the system. It finds all four harddrives
and I formatted them and made the four drives a RAID-5 system. Perhaps
you want to do the same with a pristine kernel (I don't know if you used
one, perhaps you have to add some SMP patches, if you use a dual
system).
