I have been using raid 0.9 with a RAID-5 configuration very successfully
for about 6 months now. (RH 6.1+updates)

I have obtained a matching drive for my system drive and I would like to
set it up in a RAID-1 configuration to mirror my / /usr and /home
partitions. Swap also lives there but I wasn't going to tempt fate and
try it on RAID :)

What I would like to do is make that into a RAID setup without having to
backup all my partitions, format both drives, then restore the data onto
the RAID. I could do it, but it would be a big pain in the butt and it
seems that for RAID-1 it should be possible without formatting my original
drive.

I looked for mention of a setup like this in the howto but didn't see any
sign of it. Has anyone done this? Is it possible?

BTW: when it's all done I will have to boot off this :)

Thanks.

Sean
