Hi,

   is it possible to "do" raid on top of raid ?

   on one pc (6x86) i have 5 disks

    170mb hda                                /,swap
    420mb hdb  | md0   |         |
    700mb sdb  |linear | md1     |
   1080mb sdc          |striping | md2       /mnt
   2000mb sda                    |mirroring

   or

    170mb hda                                /,swap
    420mb hdb  | md0   |
    700mb sdb  |linear | md1
   1080mb sdc  |       |mirroring            /mnt
   2000mb sda          |

   i have 2.2.14 with isdn-, reiserfs- and mingos raid patches (B1)
   with raidtools 0.90 19990824 (are there any newer ?). i can do
   "mkraid /dev/md0" and "mkraid dev/md1" but if i try to access
   /dev/md1 (make a filesystem for example) i get a message "Got md
   request, not good..." and linux is pretty dead :-((

   /proc/mdstat after the mkraid: look right for me???
