Hello,
I'd like to set up a simple raid 1 metadevice consisting of two disks. I
read the Software-RAID.HOWTO and it says, I have to get patches for the
kernel first. I looked around and found several patches but none for the
kernel I use (2.2.13) only for 2.2.11. Applying the 2.2.11 patches to
2.2.13 results in several hunks that failed.
So can please anyone tell me, what I need to set up a running raid
system unsing the raidtools (not the older mdutils): Which kernel
(2.2.x) should I (or can I) use, which raidtool kernel-patch I have to
apply and which other patches I should apply? Can anyone please tell
me? I really found no suitable information that would tell about this.
