Well, bonnie's a number, and sometimes you _have_ to have a number. :-)
Pick up tiotest at http://www.icon.fi/~mak/ - there's a nice bit of info
on the general performance measurements. You can also pick up the
read-balancing patch, which is useful for RAID1 only.

Perhaps mailing the current maintainer would be a start? My DAC960 here
has been running for 2 days being hit heavily (over 1.5 million hits/day)
as a web server for a major online auction site and it never showed one
reset. I'll check to see if my AICs have any downstairs.
