Did the superblock formats change, or is it okay to boot a kernel with new-style support on an old-style array? Simmetrically, can arrays created with raidtools-0.90 be booted on old-style kernels? I'm wondering on the forced upgrade path on my Slackware patch. I'm not really worried about breaking userland tools, but the arrays themselves.
