I do a lot of shuffling of disks around, since I only have a few, and I want
to try them on different hardware to test out where the bottlenecks are.
Right now, I've got a stripe set on sdb and sdc. These are on the second
channel of my 3940UW, and sda is on the first. I'm using the first channel
narrow, and it's the one with an external connector. If I chain my external
chassis on there, my RAID is going to get fouled up, as the two drives on
the second channel will have different /dev/ entries (which is kinda stupid,
BTW). Any ideas on how to get around this?

P.S. What's up with vger? Is it dying? Do they need a nice SS2 to replace
it or something?
