Welcome back to the ongoing story of RAID5 on BP6 / Promise Fasttrak
Something very interesting happened today:
As I could see all of my drives but not do fdisk on the last one
(second port on the Promise card) I thought "lets move theme all down
one slot"
Now I can't access the first port on the Promise card... I could
yesterday...
Please someone who knows, explain why the kernel shows the disks and
partitions in /proc/ide but fdisk can't open them.
Methinks that having 4 UDMA66 master disks in a Linux box should be
possible!
