I've been noticing that my Redhat 6.2 system is not properly shutting handling my raid device during a shutdown/reboot. I tried creating some K02stopraid in the rc0 and rc6 directories but they do not seem to be working and shutdown kills raid1d seeemingly before the raid is properly stops. All I know is that everytime I reboot my machine my raid disks have fragametation errors. It could just be a bad adaptec card causing all my woes but fortunately I have a new one (with cable) coming very soon. Anyone has any advice for rc.sysinit and or inittab modifications? Thanks.
