I have the same problem with the same /etc/raidtab file.
My kernel version is 2.2.13
The array Raid1 partitions are unmounted, but mkraid fails.
i'm looking for a solution.
If i change the raid level to 0, no problem.
But i need level 1.
If i find a solution i will tell you.
I'm working on it.
