Working with the previously posted patch to LILO which makes it work with RAID1 boot and root disks I noticed a few errors and omissions: 1) It doesn't work if you've resynced the array since your last boot 2) It doesn't correctly notice FAULTY drives and avoid them 3) It doesn't work if one of your image files is on a different array than the boot The fixes for #1 & #2 are in lilo.c and for #3 in geometry.c Here they are on our web server: http://www.elliott-turbo.com/lilo/lilo-21.tar.gz http://www.elliott-turbo.com/lilo/lilo.raid1 http://www.elliott-turbo.com/lilo/lilo.raid1.also My patch file should be applied after the standard patch file.
