Of course not! :-) This is software under active development, and it's
also being worked into the 2.3/2.4 kernels.

Yeah, nobody is quite sure why Ingo isn't putting things on the kernel.org
sites, but it's his code, and his choice.

Uhm, not sure about the FAQ, although I've heard rumors of one. Maybe
somebody else has a pointer. As for the archive, http://Geocrawler.com
seems to have archives of LOTS of lists. The one for linux-raid is at:
http://www.geocrawler.com/lists/3/Linux/57/0/. The post I'm replying to was
at the top when I just looked, this one should be there by the time you hit
