I am setting up a BP6. It has 2xCeleron/400, 128MB ram.

I have redhat 6.2 with kernel 2.2.16-3 running just fine,
however it does not seeem to have the HTP366 ide driver in it.

Too get a basic kernel I am installing the following sources:

- linux-2.2.16
- ide-2.2.16-20000630
(http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hedrick/)
- raid-2.2.16-A0 (http://people.redhat.com/mingo/raid-patches/)
- 2.2.16combo
In here md.c failed - but it was drastically changed by the
raid patch so I assumed no worries - it was a one liner chunk
        that failed.

The .config is fully modular, except forf ide, ide-disk and ext2.

While my interest is in setting up RAID on the ATA66, the fact is that
the machine locks up durimg the partitions check. At times it will get
through
the check alright but lock up the moment I try to start the raid on the
ATA66 disks.

When dying early, a message about expired dma shows up. The machine
needs
a push of the reset button at this point.

- What is the official set of patches to get 2.2.16 + ATA66 ide?
- What is the official RAID patch to go with this?
- In what order should I apply the patches?

TIA
