Raid1 and Journaling

Do either ext3 or Reiserfs work with a Raid1?

I am new to linux raid and just applied the 2.2.16-A0 patch and
the read balancing patch and everything worked great.

Before the read balancing patch the raid vol was about half the speed on
reads as the actual disk devices.  Now it is about the same speed.

I have never gotten software raid set up so easily before!
