I'm looking for a good 1 or 2 channel RAID controller that is compatible with the 2.4 kernel. Does anyone have a recommendations? I like the look of the Tekram DC-922, it is based around the LSI 53C896 chip, but I can't tell if the chip is talks to the PCI bus, or just the drives connected to it. Any pointers are welcome.
