The qla2x00smp driver IS NOT the qlogicfc driver. It is, however,
suppose to supercede it. The fact that the message is tagged qla2x00
indicates it is not the qlogicfc driver but the qla2x00 driver. When it's
compiled in an SMP enviroment the makefile creates a qla2x00smp object file.
In RH 7.0 the qla2x00 driver appears and there is no longer a
differentiation between the SMP and UP version, both modules appear as
qla2x00.o; however, the correct versions are found in the correct library
trees.

Looks like you still have the qla compiled in with your kernel -- either
make it a module or take it out of your config and compile a new kernel
before loading the new module
