I have problems with my MO drive (SCSI removable) under kernel
2.4.x. Mounting a medium works, but copying huge data volumes
(whole directories, etc.) from/to medium fails. It works with 2.2.x.
I have had problems with earlier 2.4.x versions, too. The ISA bus support or
152x driver is faulty, it seems.
Two 2.4.x configurations, the first works, the second does not:
Linux version 2.4.5 (gcc version 2.95.4 20010604)
Olympus powerMO 230 II (MO drive 230 MB)
medium: write enabled, ext2 format, superfloppy (no partition table)
---------------------------------------------------------------
1.) works
i386 (Asus P5A, ALi Aladdin 5, AMD K6-2 300 step 0,
128 MB PC100 SDRAM)
Adaptec 2940UW Retail (with CDROM and CD burner connected)
Adaptec 2904 PCI (with MO drive connected)
driver: aic7xxx
---------------------------------------------------------------
2.) does not work
i386 (NMC 7VAX, VIA KX133, AMD Athlon A 700, 256 MB PC133 SDRAM)
Adaptec 1502 (ISA SCSI card, driver: aha152x) (with MO drive conn.)
but works with 2.2.x (tested with 2.2.17 - 2.2.19)
=========================================================================
I will post the debug info for the error case, then for a working configuration
under 2.2.19.

The differences I have seen are:
only in 2.4.x:
Jun 12 10:14:11 wizard kernel: aha152x: resetting bus...
2.4.x: delay = 1000
2.2.x: delay = 100
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
