Hi, this is just a short success story about my new SMP machine and my Advansys ABP940U SCSI card. If you don't like success stories you really should just ignore the message :) With kernel 2.1.131 everything works like a charm -- performance is as good as ever and I've seen no problems whatsoever with SMP and the SCSI driver/card. It looks like I can actually recommend the Advansys cards to people with a(n SMP) Linux system -- they have relatively low overhead and good throughput for the money. Add to that the fact that they support their Linux driver and you have a winner. cheers, Rik -- the flu hits, the flu hits, the flu hits -- MORE +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Linux memory management tour guide.
