the ncr53c8xx and the 53c7,8xx driver are NOT the same. Please only
use the ncr53c8xx since it's the only one supported.

Usually when you upgrade the kernel, you keep a copy of the old config
in /etc/lilo.conf  so you can always reboot to the previous kernel
version.

If the system says ``SCSI 0 host'' you didn't compile the
right low-level SCSI driver in.
