Hello, I have some strange problems with the aha152x driver. I have an ISA AHA-1520 card, and an old DEC SCSI harddrive connected externally. My problem is that the card's BIOS detects the harddrive without problems (identifies itself as AIC-6360 BIOS, BTW), but the driver seem to hang at SCSI devices detection time. It detects the card all right, but never detects the drive and just sits there locking up the machine until I turn off the external drive's power, then lots of long timeout messages appear. Would appreciate it if anyone could take the time to work with me to get this working. (kernel 2.2.1ac5, aha152x driver version 1.7) Never debugged a driver before, but I'll not let that stop me :) CC: any replies to me personally please, I'm not a member of the list... -- Erik I.
