I have an adaptec 2940UW in my nfs server. As for drives in the sys there
is one Seagate Barracuda 9.1GB, 4 24x SCSI CD-ROMs, and 1 HP 6020i CDR. My
question is what is a safe maximum commands per LUN to set on the
controller so as to increase the tagged queueing performance of the
controller ? By default the kernel sets this value to 24. Is this the
safest setting to use in this case? Also would the future addition of more
Barracuda's also affect my setting of this value? Thanx in advance !!!
