Since I have upgraded to the 2.2.x (from 2.0.36)kernel I have had trouble with my adaptec slimscsi 1460 card. The problems have varied with each new kernel Release. Currently I get a message like this and then Iam unable to use any scsi device. I am using slackware 4.0 beta on a gateway solo 9100. If any more information is needed please email me. The pcmcia module is taking care of setting up the scsi device and I do not get the error message until i get to my login.
