I was unable to create floppy disks at the beginning so I ended up throwing
an old ide drive into my box that I will take out later ... it is 1
partition
I am installing from a slackware CD and the CDROM drive is IDE
I have an adaptech ultra wide scsi card and an IBM 9gig ultra wide scsi
drive ...
the ide I have in there now is quite old I think a 400 meg WD or something
like that ...
I had some old boot/root floppies laying around and I was able to get setup
to run by using those disks to boot the system then I did the install from
CD ... my only problem here is I did nthe install to the ide drive and still
I cant see the scsi ... it appears that the drive gets recognized and all
but I am not sure how to format it of fdisk it so I can mount it ... I have
tried everythingfrom the docs that I have read ... but I may be missing
something. I
anything will help.
TIA
