NCR SYM Driver issue (I saw this go by and missed it...)

What was it that people said about a "CACHE INCORRECTLY CONFIGURED"
message? I'm using a perfectly fine CSC NCR53c825 in an Alpha PC164- the
ncr53c8xx works, but sym53c8xx won't.
