Hi to all,

Has anyone noticed that the adaptec aha152x module has extremely slow disk
accesses under linux 2.2.x?

I tried it with 2.2.5 (the redhat stock kernel)
2.2.12 (stock both as a module and compiled in)
with very slow accesses

E.g.

# hdparm -Tt /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
 Timing buffer-cache reads: 64 MB in 0.77 seconds =83.12 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 32 MB in 39.16 seconds = 0.82 MB/sec
