I've just successfully burn a 600M cdrom with 2.3.26+"new patch" applied
;)

The bad news is that I have to change my cmdline from aha152x=0x140,9,7
to
 aha152x=0x140,9,7,1,1,0

The new driver go for synchronous=enabled by default , but with this
option
I got a lot of warning ( see below ) and my Yamaha wasn't recognized.
