I use the sony SDX-S300C (AIT drive) here for backup without
any problems at all. All you need is tar or any other type of
backup system. (Amanda, Arkeia, or whatever).
I've used and currently use plain 'tar' for network backups
mostly due to it's low-cost (free). But for commercial use
Arkeia is a good product but can get costly.
