Hi everyone,
since I upgraded my system from a 2.0.36 kernel to 2.2.13, its AHA1515
card (an old ISA relic driven by aha152x) is about two times slower as
before. Switching back to 2.0 solves the problem but I need 2.2 to be
able to use my sound card.
I tried to contact Juergen Fischer, who apparently is the maintainer of
the driver, at the address listed in MAINTAINERS, but my messages
bounced ("no such user").
Could anyone give me the actual address of Juergen, of perhaps pointers
to help me solve my problem? Just in case, my setup is as follows:
- K6-2 400, FIC motherboard
- PCI S3Virge graphics card
- ISA proprietary CDROM card (for an old Panasonic relic. Does it show
that I am cheap ? :-)
Neither dmesg nor /var/log/messages report anything special about the
AHA1515 controller.
Thanks in advance,
Laurent.
