And another one: 2.0b is out, fixing the problem that the hostname was not
probed correctly, as the buffer len was not passed to ioctl_probe ().

2.09, (2.1-pre) which addresses some issues with dynamic reconfiguration of
the scsi bus, is out for testing.

If anybody knows how to find out the characteristics (ID, LUN, INQUIRY data)
of a removable SCSI block device (sr, sd) without medium, please tell me!
The problem is, that open fails, so no ioctls can be send.
Is parsing /proc/scsi/scsi (and making assumptions on the ordering) the only
solution to this? It's a bad one ...
