I'll double check the termination when I can next take the machine down.
Onstream have since told me to upgrade to kernel 2.2.14 (but not why).
This hasn't fixed the problem.
We bought a special long SCSI LVD cable costing around $180, with 7
connectors on it. The cable is about 70cm long I think (maybe less).
I'll double check the setup of the other drives. The cable has a quality
end terminator.
I suspect it is probably the unit because the other 4 scsi devices (all
fast disks) are not experiencing any problems at all. RAID is working
perfectly as far as I can see.
