Okay, I have installed this newer driver into 2.4.0-test5 (I have worked
with later -test6-pre's, but I've not been happy with other parts of the
kernel in those releses so I'm sticking with -test5 for now).
I recreated my bonnie++ test. Well at least the kernel didn't oops with
this new driver.
Instead I get:
