Great idea, but the problem is that the application is binary only.
Another great reason for open source.
On the other hand, would it be possible to write a wrapper program
that intercepts the serial port operating system commands, does
the write to the file and does the serial port communication? If
so, how would I do this? (Big question, I know. Maybe just a pointer
to a resource on the topic?)
