Hi

I've just acquired a MOVIT Robot Arm kit including the serial interface
card made by MOVIT-LAB. The software supplied is, as usual, for Windoze only.

As I want to run the Robot from a Linux machine, I requested more
information from the manufacturers and received the following reply:

        From: "MOVIT-LAB Support" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
        To: "Bill Maidment" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        Dear Mr. Bill Maidment
Sincerely thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately the MOVIT-LAB is only for Windows95/98
and we are really sorry to inform you that we have no other
version (for Linux) and that we do not open the command
        sequences.
Please contact anytime if you need more information.
        Thanks and Best Regards.

Has anyone in penguin land had any experience with this interface device?
Or can you point me to a more suitable list?

Otherwise I will have to spend time hacking the Windoze software (any hints
would be most gratefully received).

TIA
