Hi
Hopefully this one is just under my nose and I'm missing it. I'm
modifying a routine that normally reads from a socket to read from a
hardware port. If something happens I want to read until I found the
beginning of the next transmission.

Is there a way to peak at the data before I do a read or a way to put a
couple bytes back if so that I can get out of the cleanup routine before
reading again?
