kernel image itu bootable, yg namanya vmlinuz atau zImage atau bzImage
itu loh. kalo cara bikinnya ya compile kernel (make zImage).
tinggal 'dd if=zImage of=/dev/fd0 bs=8192' jangan lupa masukin floppy
dulu..
