Saya coba install dante versi RPM.
Setelah install, maka akan tercipta (salah satunya) file: socksify (lupa
letaknya), /etc/socks.conf, dll.
Saya edit file /etc/socks.conf sesuai network saya.
1. Lalu saya jalankan:
#socksify netscape www.yahoo.com
lalu muncul menu:
Netscape error
A network error occured while Netscape
was sending data.
(Network Error: Broken pipe)
Try connecting again.
OK
Apa yang salah?
2. Kalau Netscape-nya saya jalankan tidak dengan socksify, tapi langsung
#netscape, ketika saya mengakses web page (mis: http://www.yahoo.com), maka
muncul menu pesan:
/etc/socks.conf:65:bad config line
/etc/socks.conf:66:bad config line
/etc/socks.conf:67:bad config line
/etc/socks.conf:68:bad config line
dst ....
Tentunya pada proxy setting (edit-preference-proxies-manual proxy
configuration), saya arahkan IP-nya ke IP komp gateway.
Apa yang salah lagi?
Apa yang kurang (1 dan 2)?
Gateway: NTServer # ProxyServer
Client: Linux Redhat6.1 #saya pake komp ini
Linux ---------- Gateway (NTServer) with MSProxy2 ---------- Internet
3. Kenapa printer saya: HP Deskjet 690C, tidak bisa ngeprint kalau
aplikasinya kedit/ktext?
Kalau pake Aplikasi StartOffice sih bisa?
Jika #echo "baris satu" > /dev/lp0 ; echo "baris dua" > /dev/lp0
menghasilkan output di kertas:
baris satu
baris dua
