Saya juga nyoba install printer di slackware 8.
Printernya hp deskjet 500 (nggak color). Terus coba install apsfilter. Udah
jalanin setup-nya. Tapi pada saat test printer, katanya ada error. Error-nya
.....
(ini setup dari apsfilter-nya)
Found ghostscript version 5.50 ...
You have to upgrade at least to gs version 5.50!
But you should upgrade to gs 6.01 for full driver support
prior installing printers with SETUP.

(A) Abort installation (don't do anything)
(I) ==> Install printer with values shown above - repeat this
step for installing multiple printers
(Q) ==> Finish installation
