Namun saya mengalami beberapa masalah yaitu:
1. Sewaktu saya menggunakan browser mozilla utk browsing ke internet
(mis: www.yahoo.com) muncul pesan error: "The operation timed out when
attempting to contact www.yahoo.com".
way:
apakah networknya sudah ok?
Koneksi ke internetnya via LAN atau dial-up?
coba check dulu koneksinya.. jangan lupa seting resolv.conf nya
4. Bagaimana cara mensetting connection pd kedua aplikasi browser diatas
seperti pada halnya mensetting connection pd IE yg dpt dilakukan dgn cara
memilih menu Tools->Internet Options->Connections

kalo di gnome ada : gnome control center, di kde juga ada
5. Kenapa saya tidak bisa membuka aplikasi yg ada pd menu start->program->
systems. Beberapa aplikasi yg tdk bisa saya buka spt: user manager,
internet configuration wizard, network configuration, date/time
properties,
service configuration, dll, padahal saya sudah login sbg root.
coba lihat di /etc/passwd id rootnya berapa ? mestinya 0
