Hi folks. I have tried compiling a kernel with support for the Crystal Audio onboard sound of my dual Pentium Pro, Intel PR440FX motherboard. This is an SMP kernel (I am not sure this matters). When I try to boot the kernel, it simply hangs at a certain point. Right now I running SMP, 2.2.0-pre7. It seems to work great, I just don't have the sound working. :-( Is there someone out there who has successfully built a kernel with onboard sound for this motherboard, who would not mind telling me how they did it? Thanks, Seth - Linux SMP list: FIRST see FAQ at http://www.irisa.fr/prive/mentre/smp-faq/ To Unsubscribe: send "unsubscribe linux-smp" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
