OK, let me re-iterate my initial sentence since it seems to have been
missed by some (copied from first message): 

"Have looked everywhere and can't find stats for dual PPro or PII kernels
*other than* the established bogomip benchmarks."

Key words: stats, *other than*, bogomip

OK, poor word choice by combining bogomip and benchmark. Bogomips is not a
benchmark. I am aware of this. You have my eternal apologies for writing
the word benchmark in such close proximity to the word bogomip. And yes i'
really, really did read the FAQ saying that the bogomip measurements are
not realiable and are mostly for fun and useless. I refer the dear reader
to my initial query.

Thanks very much, especially to those of you who chose not to flame me. And
I'm still looking for reliable stats which I will happily forward to
interested parties should I come upon such stats elsewhere.
