Seems my box runs more stable than without the patch but I can't
guarantee it.
After same chrashes I found the following in the logfile:
"unexpected IRQ vector 90 on CPU#1"
"unexpected IRQ vector 77 on CPU#1"

The box said "Requires Win95, NT, or better," and so I installed Linux.
