Powerleap (www.powerleap.com) is apparently planning on releasing
a PentiumPro upgrade next month. (The news was posted on their newsgroups
but is not on the web site yet). It sounds like a converter that lets
you plug a 400MHz+ PPGA Celeron into a Socket 8 motherboard. They also
state that it will will work in SMP configurations.

It sounds interesting -- but I wonder how well the Celerons would perform
in an SMP configuration with only 128K of cache.

Emil
