since there doesn't seem to be some kind of debugging aid in a lookup
situation on a smp box I thought it would be a good idea to implement
it by myself. There is already an <alt sysreq p> command which shows
the register contents of the processor handling the keyboard
interrupt. I extended it to send an IPI to all other cpu's to force
them to dump their current state too.
The patch is against 2.2.3, uses show_registers instead of show_regs
to provide additional information (backtrace, ...) and was tested on a
SMP box with two processors.
