My 3c900 card doesn't work when I run 2.1.123 with SMP enabled. It works
fine under 2.1.122 with SMP. When I boot 2.1.123, I get these error
messages on my console and in syslog right as the boot sequence finishes:
eth0: transmit timed out, tx_status 00 status e601.
eth0: Interrupt posted but not delivered -- IRQ blocked by another device?
Generally a few packets get through (enough for an ARP and its response)
before the card goes unresponsive.
I'm pretty sure it's not the 3c59x driver, since that didn't change at all
from 2.1.122 to 2.1.123. Anyone have any ideas (or better, patches) for
this?
Some details, if relevant: 2x Pentium-II/350 on an ASUS P2B-D (BX)
motherboard. The ethernet card is a 3c900 combo, using the 10-base-T
transceiver. If anything else is relevant here, please ask.
Thanks,
