Hi all, may I ask for some advice on a SMP-System? My constraint is that I need to run an AD-Board, which is accessed via io-ports and the host's memory. It works absolutely fine on serveral single-processor Linux installations. Would there be any danger of (SMP-specific) complications, if I moved to a SMP-system? More specifically, I am currently looking at a S1832DL TIGER 100 Motherboard to be equipped with 450 MHz PIIs. Are there any reports on using this board with linux available? - I couldn't find any.
