It shouldnt be occuring in 2.1.x, the APIC itself does IRQ ordering. There
are probably some driver problems still to clean from the change of mentality
though.
The 'timed out in interrupt handler' is almost certainly a bug. Its definitely
not a good message to see.
The clock is odd too -that sounds like you are getting extra/missing timer
ticks (ie the clock interrupt isnt stable)
