I ask this here because Buslogic Controllers seem to be
favorites among people on these lists. I noticed that
Computer Geeks (http://www.compgeeks.com) has a bunch of
Buslogic controllers (BT-958, BT-950, BT-948, BT-932 and
BT-542C) in their new arrivals section, for prices
ranging from $42 to $119. Not being at all familiar with
these products, I was wondering which if any of them
y'all would recommend (a) for a personal workstation,
for a single boot disk, CD & Tape and (b) for a
high-utilization server, with a multi-LUN hardware
ultra/wide RAID device out the back (both Linux, of course).
Are there any lemons in there?
Thanks,
